ILA Berlin kicks off with a wide-ranging display of innovation, new technology and sustainability
ILA Berlin 2024 kicks off today with the slogan ‘Pioneering Aerospace’. Over the next five days at Berlin/Brandenburg's airport BER the focus is on the future of aerospace. The industry’s leading trade fair for sustainability, new technologies and innovation is the meeting place of the international industry, policymakers, armed forces and science. Under the headings Defence & Support, Aviation, Space, Suppliers and Advanced Air Mobility, ILA Berlin covers the entire range of the aerospace market. What makes ILA unique is its wide-ranging programme on four STAGES, where the focus is on climate-neutral aviation, new mobility and space security.

ILA’s unique stage program features information and entertainment with a focus on innovation, new technology and sustainability
Among the many aerospace exhibitions ILA is unique – not least because of its comprehensive and well-informed program of stage events. No other trade fair features so many topics, leading minds and such a wide range of content. From 5 to 9 June daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. four parallel stages will have all the latest on innovation, new technology and sustainability, with each stage providing a special focus.

From rescue drones to the world’s largest airliner – aircraft at ILA 2024
Be it the latest prototype of the Lilium eVTOL, the Do328 Uplift as a flying test bed for eco-friendly aviation technology, or the world’s largest airliner – from 5 to 9 June a comprehensive range of aircraft will be on display at ILA Berlin. Visitors can experience the fascination of flying both on the ground and in the air. Compared with ILA 2022 there is an increase in flying displays. Four 30-minute slots are scheduled daily for aerial shows, which are taking place parallel with flight operations at neighbouring BER Airport and offer the threefold ILA experience of innovation, new technology and sustainability.

The future of ILA Berlin is secure until 2030
At today’s joint cabinet meeting of the Senate of Berlin and the government of the State of Brandenburg the two states concluded a framework agreement for staging ILA Berlin from 2026 to 2030.
