The Emirates A380 is among the world's most iconic passenger jets, bringing global long-haul aviation directly to the ILA apron. Featuring two passenger decks, four engines, and distinctive livery, this superjumbo stood as a major Static Display attraction throughout ILA Berlin 2026.

Developed by Boeing Australia and the Royal Australian Air Force, it showcases scalable, networked air combat capabilities in the Defence Park.

At ILA 2026, the research aircraft is announced for the Static and Flying Display.

The aircraft combines current single-aisle technology with a distinctive anniversary livery from the airline. At ILA 2026, Lufthansa presents it in the Static Display. Important for planning your visit: on site on trade visitor days only, Wednesday to Friday.
The only completely newly developed attack helicopter in the Western world: The AW249 was designed by Leonardo for the combat scenarios of the future. With state-of-the-art sensors, networked mission management and a design for multi-domain operations, it defines a new generation of rotary-wing aircraft. At ILA 2026, Leonardo presents the AW249 for the first time in the flight programme.
A cornerstone of European air defense: The Eurofighter combines agility, sensor fusion and weapons range in one system. At ILA 2026, the Bundeswehr shows the fighter both in the Static Display and in action in the Flying Display. Like hardly any other aircraft, the Eurofighter stands for European cooperation in practice: Spain is bringing two aircraft to Berlin specifically for this, one Eurofighter for the Flying Display and one for the Static Display. Together with the German aircraft, the fighter becomes a visible symbol of European unity in air defense.
Special highlights at this year's ILA include the flyovers of a German Heron TP (GHTP) operated by the Bundeswehr. The unmanned aircraft was developed for long-range reconnaissance missions with high endurance in the area of operation. At ILA 2026, the Bundeswehr's GHTP can be experienced not only on the ground, but also in the air: To give visitors an immediate insight into the system's capabilities, it will fly over the ILA grounds and capture high-resolution aerial imagery, which will be shown live on the large screens across the exhibition grounds.

The Multinational MRTT Unit brings together capabilities from several nations and shows at ILA how aerial refuelling, transport and aeromedical evacuation can converge in one system.

Airbus uses the special transporter to move large aircraft components between its European sites. At ILA 2026, the flying whale can be seen in the Static Display.
Tactical transport, strategic long-haul carrier and airborne tanker in one: The A400M Atlas is one of the most important aircraft in European armed forces. The Bundeswehr presents this workhorse in the Static Display.
The backbone of German strike forces since the 1980s. The Panavia Tornado shows one of its last public chapters at ILA 2026 before being replaced by its successors. A rare opportunity to experience this icon in both Static and Flying Display.
Following the demonstrator's successful first flight on 2 May 2026, the Do 228 NXT comes to Berlin for its first show appearance. General Atomics AeroTec Systems presents the latest generation of the proven turboprop to the public, designed for versatile operations and demanding missions worldwide.
Submarine hunting, maritime surveillance and long-range reconnaissance: The P-8 is the new backbone of the Bundeswehr's maritime air operations. Based on the Boeing 737, it combines modern sensors with proven airliner technology. On display in the Static Display at ILA 2026.
Agile, armored and night-combat capable: The EC665 Tiger is one of Europe's most advanced attack helicopters. At ILA 2026, EC665 Tiger aircraft from the Armée de l'air and the Bundeswehr are announced for the Flying Display and Static Display, offering a rare look at a highly specialized rotary-wing system.
The CH-53 has been one of the Bundeswehr's key heavy-lift helicopters for decades. Used for troop and material transport, evacuation and air support, the robust aircraft stands for reliable operational capability in demanding conditions. At ILA 2026, the CH-53 can be seen in the Static Display.
In service for over 70 years and one of the most-built transport aircraft in history. The C-130 Hercules is the indestructible workhorse of air forces worldwide and operates on nearly every continent. At ILA 2026, variants from the Bundeswehr and the USAF are announced for the Static Display.
Weightlessness on demand: The A310 ZeroG flies parabolic trajectories that let science and industry conduct experiments in space-like conditions without leaving Earth. DLR showcases this unique research aircraft in the Static Display.
