Purchase & payment

Is there a box office on site?
No. For security and visitor management reasons there were no box offices on site at ILA 2026: ticket sales and voucher redemption ran exclusively in advance and online via the ticket shop. Please plan your purchase before you travel. Whether anything changes for 2028 will be announced here at sales start.
When do ticket sales for 2028 start, and what will tickets cost?
The date for the sales start has not been set yet. As soon as it is fixed, we will inform newsletter subscribers first, followed by the Ticket Hub. Prices for 2028 will be published at sales start; 2026 prices no longer apply.
Which payment methods are available? Can I buy on invoice?
Purchase on invoice was not possible in 2026. The available payment methods are shown directly in the ticket shop checkout. Which payment options will be offered in 2028 will be published at sales start.
I want to buy tickets from abroad. What should I know?
In 2026, international trade visitors received special conditions when buying their online admission ticket via the Messe Berlin representatives in their country. The representatives also help with preparing your visit and with visa enquiries.
Are there multi-day tickets?
Due to comprehensive security and visitor management measures, only day tickets were available at ILA 2026. The only exception was the VIP Pioneer Pass, which covers all trade visitor days. The ticket structure for 2028 will be confirmed at sales start.
Category 2

Ticket types, age & access

Which ticket is right for me?
In short: if you visit ILA privately, come on the public days with the private visitor ticket. If you attend professionally, choose the trade visitor ticket or the VIP Pioneer Pass with premium services. Young talent uses the Talent Hub ticket, and media professionals apply for press accreditation. The overview with all cards and the direct comparison is one level up in the Ticket Hub.
From what age can children visit ILA?
At ILA 2026: children under 6 had free admission on the public days when accompanied by their parents and did not need a ticket. From their 6th birthday, the reduced private visitor ticket applied. Access to the trade visitor days was restricted to 18 and older; the exception was the Talent Hub ticket. Important for parents: always carry suitable hearing protection for children, as the site is within earshot of the BER runway with ongoing flight operations.
Who counts as a trade visitor?
The trade visitor days are aimed at people professionally involved in aerospace, defence or related industries. Which details or proofs will be requested when buying 2028 tickets will be published at sales start. Delegation requests are coordinated by BDLI: Blerina Buzhala, buzhala@bdli.de.
Will there be a VIP Pioneer Pass again in 2028?
The VIP Pioneer Pass proved itself in 2026 and sold out. For 2028 we keep a non-binding interest list; all details follow with the ticket launch.
Are there reduced tickets for Bundeswehr members?
In 2026 there were reduced Bundeswehr tickets, available exclusively via an access code. Valid proof was the Bundeswehr service card, meaning the troop ID, service ID or military police service ID. The reservist card was not sufficient.
Category 3

Discounts & accessibility

Which proofs are accepted for reduced tickets?
In 2026, the accepted proofs for the reduced private visitor ticket were the student card, the pupil card and the disability card. Important: at admission, you must show the matching proof together with your reduced ticket.
What applies to people with disabilities and accompanying persons?
With a disability card, the reduced private visitor ticket applied in 2026. Accompanying persons of severely disabled visitors with the mark B in their card enjoyed free admission; a corresponding ticket was handed out at the entrance.
Where do I find information on accessible travel?
All routes to the site are bundled under Service and Getting here. Closer to the show we will also add the notes for an accessible visit to ILA 2028 there.

Vouchers & codes

How do I redeem a voucher code?
In 2026, voucher codes were redeemed exclusively in advance and online in the ticket shop, not on site. The step-by-step guide with images walks you through every step; you find it linked right below these categories.
My voucher code does not work. What can I do?
First check the input: mix-ups such as 0 and O or I and l and copied spaces are the most common cause. Also note that a code can usually be redeemed only once and may be tied to a specific ticket type or day. Sometimes the problem lies with the browser, so that valid voucher codes are wrongly rejected as invalid; in that case, switching to a different browser often helps. If the error persists, use the contact form below and tell us where the code came from; the team will then check it directly.
Exhibitors: how do I receive the codes for exhibitor passes?
In 2026, the free exhibitor passes depended on stand size: up to 20 square metres three passes, plus one additional pass per further 10 square metres. The voucher codes were sent automatically by email. Additional passes could be booked via the web shop and redeemed in the ticket shop; they were charged regardless of redemption. Passes are personalised and non-transferable, and resale is prohibited.
Exhibitors: how do customer invitations work?
For invited guests, ILA 2026 provided special voucher codes on request. These were only charged when actually redeemed and invoiced after the event. Tickets were issued on a per-day basis, for trade visitor and public days; there were no reserved quotas.
Category 5

Parking & access

Do I need a parking ticket, and where do I buy it?
Yes. Arriving by car in 2026 required a parking ticket booked online in advance. Without one, there was no way to buy a parking ticket on site, and visitors had to switch to public transport. Check availability early and plan your journey via the service page.
Which rules apply on car parks P1 and P2?
As of 2026: the maximum car length for P1 is 6 metres. Motorhomes are not allowed on P1 but could book an XL parking ticket for P2. Vehicles must not be left on the car parks overnight.
How does access work for exhibitors, deliveries and service partners?
Vehicle access, deliveries and traffic rules for set-up and dismantling are covered by the exhibitor manual in the logistics and traffic chapter. Temporary access for external service partners is coordinated by the service team; you find the contacts in the manual, or you use the contact form below.
Category 6

For exhibitors & service partners

Which passes does my stand team need?
In 2026, stands came with free exhibitor passes based on stand size; they were also valid during set-up and dismantling. Stand construction companies received free set-up and dismantling passes, ordered via the web shop and valid exclusively during the official set-up and dismantling times.
Does every person really have to register in advance?
Yes. Online registration was mandatory in 2026; there were no registration desks at the entrances, and no access was granted without a valid pass. Please plan your team's registration well before arrival.
Where do I find all exhibitor details?
The passes and tickets chapter in the exhibitor manual bundles all rules, from the pass allocation to customer invitations and third-party security staff. You find it linked right below these categories.
